COMPANY AGREEMENT BETWEEN MEMBERS AND HFCT

 

Hollywood Fight Club Company membership is FREE for members who meet the requirement: 16 hours per month spent on various company duties. There is a $75 penalty for any company member who has failed to meet the required 16 hours per month. After three months of failure to meet the required monthly hours, company membership is subjected to termination.

 

“HAVE TOS”

 

• All company actors are able to audition for every play throughout the year but must be green lighted by the Artistic Director upon being cast in order to perform. Under no conditions can an actor request to perform in back to back shows.

 

• All company members acting in a show are required to sell 10 tickets and contribute $25 towards the marketing postcards.

 

• All new members are required to Stage Manage an entire run of one show and House Manage three shows, which will not be credited towards any hours… ONE TIME ONLY.

 

• Every company member is required to House Manage at least two or more shows per month. (A great way to get required hours).

 

• A Beautification team of 5 members will be created each month to clean the theater once a week (4 to 5 times a month total). Every company member is required to work on a beautification team for at least one month a year (another great way to earn hours).

 

• Hollywood Fight Club Theater has always been a place where actors, directors, writers, and the like could get together, share ideas and work to achieve common goals. As a company, the only way to continually achieve this is through active communication, which is why we hold monthly company meetings. Generally, meetings will be held on the last Sunday of every month, at which point we will discuss current projects and sign up actors for required hours. It is the responsibility of every company member to attend these meetings and attendance is considered a requirement for membership. In case of emergency, please contact the head of the communications committee.

 

• As a company member, you are given the opportunity to participate in every aspect of a working theater. We have several committees where required hours can be earned.

 

• There is NO eating or drinking in the theater at any time! The only exception is WATER!!!

 

• HFCT reserves the right to terminate an actor’s position within the company at any given time.

 

• HFCT will not be responsible for any injuries that might occur while rehearsing and or performing in our theater space.
